We currently offer a full training package for suitable applicants
from Forklift Operators through to LGV (large goods vehicle)
drivers.
Forklift Operators:
If you have an interest with working in the warehousing
and distribution sector, having a current forklift licence
can certainly help your chances to attain full time work.
An employer will recognise your potential as a more productive
and flexible employee if you have specialist handling licences.
In an ever-changing environment, companies need to meet health
and safety standards and employees with specialist training
will help them to meet these stringent requirements. We can
offer full training for any type of forklift licence once
you have registered with us for this type of work.
LGV Drivers:
It is estimated that the UK transport industry has
a current shortage of 75,000 professional LGV drivers. Recruitment
Solutions are meeting this challenge by training drivers from
C1 (7.5t) level up to LGV C (class two/rigid) and LGV C up
to LGV C+E (class one/artic).
Licence upgrades can be available to you when you register
with us and when you have proved your potential as a driver
by working successfully on our current driving contracts for
a period of approximately 6 weeks. After this time with us,
we shall assess your driving skills in an LGV vehicle and
book that all-important training schedule and test date. When
you pass your test, you shall be promptly be driving on our
LGV contracts. Should you decide to take a permanent post
and move on then that is fine with us, you won’t be
asked to repay a penny. Most drivers stay with us and enjoy
the flexibility of the work we offer.
It would normally cost in the region of £800 to pass
your LGV . Recruitment Solutions can offer you this same opportunity
for as little as £300. We will not tie you in with a
contract as we hope that you will enjoy working with us and
will stay to further improve you licence or to consider training
for other licences such as HIAB or ADR.
